Life's little wonders zentangle

This is my zentangle animal project. I took a different approach to the project's direction because I wanted it to have a little more meaning then just an animal on a page. My theatre director always told me that if I ever got butterflies before doing something big, teach them to fly in formation for my benefit. So, the butterfly represents the ever-evolving and ever-learning artist I want to be. And the Earth represents the place I want to impact and positively change the most. The Earth is also a place I want to protect and give back to. Using a medium of colored markers and a thin tipped Sharpie, I created a piece so colorful that it takes your eyes a moment to focus before you can recognize the pieces within it. Like life, sometimes you have to adjust your eyes to the bigger picture before you see the little wonders.

  5. I love how your picture isn't just something you whipped up. The description brings it to life and gives it more perspective. I love how there is so much going on but you can still find the center of it all!
